Meet the Maker...
Zalisander is the passion project of Nottingham based jewellery designer Alexandra Watt (AKA Lex)
Lex has a lifelong love of creating beautiful things, which began when she was little, raiding haberdashery sections for beads and thread, and drawing intricate design ideas in her sketchbooks. She trained in the Birmingham school of jewellery, graduating in 2010. Zalisander was created in 2011 with the help of The Prince's Trust.
Zalisander blends fantastical elements inspired by fiction, with art deco influences and a hint of sacred geometry.
